Updates on the Director of Schools Search

New information has been released regarding the search for the new Giles County Director of Schools.
The Tennessee School Boards Association will present their findings on the candidates for the position at the February 14 meeting of the school board. They currently have 17 candidates for the position and will make their recommendation to the board at that time.
After the board has had time to evaluate the candidates, the new director of schools is expected to be announced on April 15.
Until that announcement is made, Debbie Braden will continue as interim director of schools.
