WKSR Radio Community Auction is a Success Posted on January 27, 2013
The 2013 WKSR Radio Community Auction came to a close tonight, as a grand total of $35,169.50 was raised over the last two weekends for the Giles County Help Center.
Last weekend, more than $15,000 was raised and tonight's total was even greater, at $20,004.50. In addition, 330 items were sold last weekend and 429 were sold tonight. Organizers are extremely pleased with the results of this year’s auction and it is their hope that more families will be able to be helped by the Giles County Help Center.
All items purchased and donations given in the auction can be picked up and dropped off at Holley’s Printing Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. There are also still some leftover items on display at Holley’s and they can be purchased during those times as well.
If anyone still wishes to make a donation to the Giles County Help Center, Holley’s is still accepting those as well.
