Auction Concludes Sunday -and There's Still Time to Donate

This Sunday marks the last day of the 2013 WKSR Radio Community Auction. Last week, the auction generated over $15,000 for the Giles County Help Center and organizers are confidant that more will be raised this week.
If you have not yet done so, there is still time to donate an item to the auction. Baked items, especially cookies, pies, and cakes, are always big crowd pleasers and that has been especially true this year. If you would like to donate a homemade treat, you can do so at Holley’s Printing anytime tomorrow or Sunday morning before the auction.
Day 2 of the WKSR Radio Community Auction will begin Sunday at 12:30 p.m. and it will end at 10:00 p.m. If you would like to bid, the number to call is 363-3161. For more information on the auction, call Joyce Swann at 478-5112.
