MMC Trounces Mid-Continent

Martin Methodist took to the road and swept a pair of TranSouth Athletic Conference games Thursday night at Mid-Continent University.
In the women’s game, the RedHawks received a career-high 24 points from Becca Smithson to cruise to a 90-69 victory.
In the nightcap, Jeremy Rodgers scored a career-high 27 points to lead the RedHawks to an 84-71 win. The senior was efficient from the floor, sinking 12-of-16 shots down low. Justin Blake and Josh Watson added 17 points each in the blowout victory for the RedHawks.
The RedHawk men’s team begins an eight-game homestand tomorrow when they host Life University. Tipoff in tomorrow's game is set for 2 pm at the Curry Christian Life Center.
