"Hiring Our Heroes" Job Fair Today At LP Field

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s National Chamber Foundation and RecruitMilitary, along with lead sponsor Ryder, will host “Hiring Our Heroes – Nashville,” a hiring fair for veterans and military spouses.
This fair is one of three nationwide today that will enable Hiring Our Heroes to reach its 400th hiring fair milestone since the program began in March 2011. More than 40 employers are expected to participate with jobs available for veterans and military spouses of all ranks and levels of experience.
Companies range from America's biggest employers to small companies from across the region. Since its launch, Hiring Our Heroes has held over 390 hiring fairs nationwide, helping more than 14,000 veterans and military spouses find employment.
This event is also part of Hiring 500,000 Heroes, a national campaign announced by the U.S. Chamber, National Chamber Foundation, and Capital One, to engage the business community in committing to hire 500,000 veterans and military spouses by the end of 2014.
The job fair will take place today from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm at LP Field, 1 Titans Way Nashville.
