Driver's License Checkpoint Announced for Giles County Posted on January 22, 2013
The Tennessee Highway Patrol has announced that they will be conducting a driver license roadside safety checkpoint in Giles County during the week of January 25. This checkpoint will be conducted on Highway 11 at the 13 mile marker beginning at 8:00 p.m.
Recognizing the danger presented to the public by unqualified drivers, the troopers will concentrate their efforts on vehicles being operated by drivers who violate the driver's license laws of Tennessee.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol has found these driver's license roadside safety checkpoints to be an effective means of enforcing driver's license laws of Tennessee while ensuring the protection of all motorists.
