Cornersvill Coach "Moving On" To Knoxville
Posted on January 22, 2013

Ray Stockstill will swap coaching the Bulldogs Friday nights in Cornersville for Saturday afternoons in Knoxville watching the Tennessee Vols.

The longtime football coach at Cornersville confirmed his resignation last Tuesday, closing an eight-year stay at the Marshal County School.

"My son is a freshman at UT, and I want to be able to go see him play, I'm going to step back and coach the middle school so I'll have Fridays and Saturdays to go see him play."
Stockstill said in an interview with the Tennessean.

Coach Stockstill’s son, Joe Stokcstill is a 6-foot-3, 235-pound freshman walk-on quarterback for the Volunteers.
