School Board Appreciation Week Is Next Week

Each year, Tennessee celebrates “School Board Appreciation Week” to honor school board members who govern our schools and make a difference in the lives of our children and communities.
For 2013, “School Board Appreciation Week” in Tennessee is next week, January 27th through February 2nd.
Public Education is everyone’s business, and it holds the key to the success of every community.
School board members donate their time and efforts to ensure that our students receive a first-class education and an opportunity for future success in life. School Board Week is a chance for the community to thank these individuals for their commitment to education.
