Sweets & Desserts Needed For WKSR Auction

The call is going out to all great bakers and cooks in Giles County for you best cakes, cookies, pies, desserts and sweets for the WKSR Community Auction to benefit the Giles County Help Center this Sunday, January 20th beginning at 12:30pm.
Your sweet creations can be dropped off at Holley's Printing anytime Saturday, or Sunday morning before the auction.
Long time auction volunteer Joyce Swann says, "Cakes, Pies, Cookies, Fried Pies, Peanut Brittle and all types of sweets always sell very, very well at the auction ." Swann says the homemade creations bring in great returns "because everyone loves a great dessert or something sweet."
The call is going out to the fine bakers and cooks in Giles County for your help again this year, "we couldn't do it without the many fine cooks in Giles County", says Hershel Lake, WKSR Owner and Auction Veteran. "We need those fine desserts and sweets to help us raise as much as we can for the Giles County Help Center."
If you wish to donate bake goods or sweets, they item or items can be dropped-off anytime Saturday or Sunday Morning before the auction at Holley's Printing.
