Giles Countian Arrested For TennCare Fraud Posted on January 17, 2013
A Giles County man faces charges after he used drugs that he purchased using TennCare benefits to manufacture crystal methamphetamine.
John Robinson was taken into custody by the Giles County Sheriff's Department yesterday.
Robinson is charged with TennCare fraud, as well as one count of manufacturing meth, and several other related charges.
Robinson is also accused of using TennCare benefits to obtain a prescription drug that contained pseudoephedrine, used in the manufacture of methamphetamine.
The charge of TennCare fraud against Robinson alone could result in a two year sentence. Additional charges could bring additional time to his sentence, and fines, if Robinson is convicted
