Giles County Schools Open !

The weather has caused several school systems to close their doors today, but Giles County Schools are in session and everything is running on time.
Giles County EMS Director Barry Whitt and Giles County Road Superintendent Barry Hyatt report Giles County roads are wet, but report no icy areas that they know of. They still ask Giles Countians to use caution when traveling due to the extremely cold temperature.
On the other hand, Lawrence County Public Schools are closed today, due to the winter weather that moved into the area yesterday and continues to linger today.
One again Lawrence County Schools are closed, Giles County Schools are open and verything is running on time.
