Raiders Win Over Mt. Pleasant

Richland had a good Friday night, as both of their teams defeated Mt. Pleasant.
The Lady Raiders defeated the Lady Tigers 54-47. Richland had three players scoring in double digits: Merrianne Patterson with 18, Kaylin Stacey with 14, and Ashton Edwards with 13.
The Richland boys knocked off previously undefeated and #1 ranked Mt. Pleasant, 55-53. Down 16 points at the half, Carson Edwards hit a three at the buzzer to complete the comeback. Bret Boatright had 19 points, Jacob Farrar had 13, and Edwards had 11. Marcus Batchelder pulled down 10 rebounds.
On Tuesday night, the Raiders will entertain Hampshire at home.
