TWRA Offers Boating Safety Class

The Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency will be offering a boating safety class in conjunction with the 2013 Nashville Boat and Sportshow tomorrow 12 at the Nashville Convention Center. The class will offer general information about boats, boat safety, maintenance, and the laws and regulations that must be followed.
The class will be held in room 102 of the convention center from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Those who complete the course will be given free admission to the Nashville Boat and Sportshow. Participants born after January 1, 1989 must bring a Type 600 Exam Permit to class. The cost of the permit is $10 and is available wherever hunting and fishing licenses are sold.
