LOCKE, May Henry Bates (Kittye), age 95 of Pulaski, TN, passed away January 8,2013 at her home She grew up In Nashville, TN. She attended Protestant Hospital School of Nursing in Nashville, TN and Columbia State College in Columbia, TN.
She was a RN and worked in direct patient care, nursing supervision, nursing
education in Giles County until retiring at age 80.
She was a member of East Hill Church of Christ in Pulaski, TN.
She is Survived by daughter, Linda Diane Locke of Nashville, TN, Nancy Lee Locke Radek of Nashville, TN, grandson, Benjamin Lee Hanberry and wife, Lauren Thomas Hanberry of Murfreesboro, TN, great grand child, Rivea Lee Hanberry,son-in-law, Bruce Radek of Nashville, TN, nephews John Mitchell (Lillie) Holt of
Augusta, GA, Robert Allen Holt; devoted friend and caretaker, Ann Holly of Pulaski, TN, three grand nephews and five great-grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, 1-11- 2013, from 4PM to 8PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home In Pulaski, TN.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 1-12-2013, at 1PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, with burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Carr & Erwin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for May Henry Bates Locke.
