It's Radio Auction Time Once Again

The time has come once again for the WKSR Radio Auction. As we do every year, WKSR will suspend our regular programming on WKSR-AM/FM two consecutive Sunday afternoons in order to bring our listeners the broadcast coverage of this annual event, the auction can also be heard at www.wksr.com.
This year’s auction will take place on January 20th and 27th and will benefit the Giles County Help Center.
Items have already begun pouring in to the auction and it still isn’t too late to donate. Non-perishable items can be dropped off at People’s Choice Realty during regular office hours from 9 am until 6 pm or at Holley’s Printing on the day of the auction.
Auction organizers have requested that any food items donated be labeled with a brief description that can be read over the radio. In addition to all of the sweets for sale, there is also a request for sugar-free treats, so that some of the people who are diabetic in our community can get in on some of the bidding fun.
