New Spring Hill Website Debuts Friday

The City of Spring Hill this week will unveil a new website as part of an effort to enhance the image of the city and to keep up with advancements in technology, officials said.
The new design for www.springhilltn.org is scheduled to launch Friday, according to a city press release.
The Board of Mayor and Aldermen in June approved a $20,000 contract with CivicPlus, a website design firm that specializes in creating sites for municipalities. A 27-member committee comprised of city employees, elected officials and other local individuals was created to spearhead the design and implement the new site.
The new site will also offer citizens and public officials new features, like an agenda creation center for public meetings and a section for citizens to submit requests for items such as pothole repairs or brush chipping.
