Columbia Police Looking For Information

Columbia Police are investigating an early morning shooting that occurred at Waffle House.

A black male exited the Nashville Highway restaurant about 3:30 am yesterday and was approached by a black male wearing a black hoodie and red baseball cap and wielding a handgun, according to a police press release.

The suspect fired two rounds at the victim, who retreated into the business, according to the release. Both rounds struck and entered the business. No injuries were reported.
The suspect fled the scene headed north on Nashville Highway in a white Nissan Xterra.
