DotSpot/iGiles Sold to Monster Broadband
Posted on January 03, 2013

Effective January 1, DotSpot/iGiles.net Internet services has been acquired by Monster Broadband. Monster Broadband was founded in 2008 by Steve Baker and Charles Johnston, natives of Moore County, with a goal of becoming the lead supplier of fixed wireless Internet, phone services, and satellite services in Tennessee.

This sale allows Steve and David Lake to concentrate more fully on their core businesses. Hershel Lake said the quality of the new owners is impressive and that the Lakes wish them well as Monster Broadband continues to grow and expand.

All iGiles employees will remain with the company, which will continue to operate out of the West College Office.
