Franke In Fayetteville Expanding Posted on January 02, 2013
Franke Artemis Group gained final plat approval last Thursday from the Fayetteville Regional Planning Commission for a 78,000-square-foot warehouse addition.
The addition, to the north end of Franke’s U.S. 64 East facility, will primarily include warehouse space as well as some manufacturing, office and shipping areas, said Huntsville, Alabama, architect Larrell Hughes as he appeared before city planners last Thursday. Some parking will also be added.
Currently Franke is renting a building, which it utilizes in addition to the company’s plant here. The expansion, though, should eliminate the need for the rented space.
The Franke Group currently produces Kitchen Systems, Foodservice Systems, Washroom Systems, Coffee Systems, and Beverage Systems.
According to discussion, the expansion is the first of two phases being considered at the facility. The second phase would be on the receiving end of the existing facility.
The warehouse expansion is expected to be completed by the fall of 2013.
