Lincoln County Man Arrested On Several Charges

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies apprehended a local man who ran from the scene of an accident recently and was wanted for several charges, including manufacturing methamphetamine.
Thomas Wayne Winn, 22, was arrested during a traffic stop last Thursday. He had been wanted in connection with an accident earlier in December. Winn was one of the drivers involved in a two-vehicle wreck on Bear Wallow Road on December 6th. After that accident, deputies had found a complete, one-pot meth lab in Winn’s vehicle.
Winn was charged with two counts of the promotion of the manufacture of methamphetamine, two counts of initiating the process to manufacture methamphetamine, possession of schedule II methamphetamine, leaving the scene of an accident, driving on a revoked license, failure to appear and a parole violation.
He's being held at the Lincoln County Jail on $76,500 bond.
