Area Residents Appointed to State Boards & Commissions

Governor Haslam announced today that he was appointing 152 Tennesseans to 58 state boards and commissions. Among these appointments are several area residents.

Terri Philpot-Flynn, of Lawrenceburg, was appointed to the Board of Communication Disorders.

Jennie Harlan, from Columbia, was appointed to the Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth.

Kathie Fuston, also from Columbia, is now on the Tennessee Historical Commission.

Beverly Philpot from Lawrenceburg and Kenneth Donaldson from Columbia are now on the Underground Storage Tanks and Solid Waste Disposal Control Board.

Haslam has said that he appreciates the willingness of these men and women to serve and that Tennessee will be well-represented on these boards and commissions.
