The Giles County Bobcats have won their first round game in the Beech Christmas Tournament. They defeated Hunters Lane 61-53. Austin Howard had 21 points and Devante Jimenez had 14. Giles County hit 13 of 15 free throws in the final two minutes to pull away. Next up for the Bobcats is a game against Beech tonight at 8:30.
