Fairview Volunteer Soccer Treasurer Indicted

The volunteer treasurer of the Fairview Soccer Association has been arrested and charged with stealing as much as $92,000 from the organization during a four year period, according to Fairview police.

Cynthia Ann Mangrum, 38, was arrested Friday in a business parking lot on Highway 100, and charged with theft over $60,000, although the soccer group estimates the amount stolen is closer to $92,000, according to a spokesman for the Fairview Police Department.

Mangrum, who has no criminal history, was jailed at the Williamson County Criminal Justice Center and released on $25,000 bond. Her arrest followed a December 5th indictment by the Williamson County Grand Jury, she will face a preliminary hearing on the theft charge December 17th in Williamson Circuit Court.
