PFD Responds to Kitchen Fire

The Pulaski Fire Department responded to a kitchen fire at 249 Stadium Street just after 1 p.m. last Friday, December 7. PFD Chief Don Collins said a smoke detector alerted the resident and there was no fire damage, only light smoke.
Just prior to the Stadium Street call, Collins said firefighters were extinguishing an illegal burn on Thomas Street.
Collins reminds all residents that no open air burning is allowed in the Pulaski city limits. This does not include grills and smokers used for cooking.
