"Ball Cap Bandit" Identified

Rogersville's Police Chief has identified the man suspected to be the "Ball Cap Bandit".
Chief Terry Holden says his department is working to find Cedrick Lamond Hicks, of Madison County.
Holden said his department developed Hicks as a suspect after the Ball Cap Bandit hit the Regions Bank in Rogersville in late November.
The man walked to the counter of the bank and told the teller he had a weapon. Investigators say the teller never saw the weapon.
The robber wore his trademark ball cap during the hold up.
The Ball Cap Bandit is suspected of robbing banks in Rogersville, Cullman, Priceville, Guntersville, Albertville, and Pulaski, Tennessee. Investigators are working to determine if he's hit banks in states other than Alabama and Tennessee.
The Ball Cap Bandit got away in a blue Kia or a white SUV.
Court documents show Hicks has a history of drug arrests in DeKalb County and Athens. A recent traffic ticket states Hicks was driving a 2004 blue Kia Optima.
Authorities don't believe Hicks is in the Huntsville area. They said he has been spotted everywhere from Mississippi all the way up to Tennessee.
Anyone with information about Cedrick Lamond Hicks is asked to call local law enforcement, the FBI, or the Rogersville Police Department.
