Angels Left in Elkton Posted on December 06, 2012
Elkton City Recorder Margie Brooks says there are still about 20 Angels on the City Hall tree that need to be picked up. The Salvation Army Angel Tree is a program that allows people to buy presents for children in need. As of right now, about half of Elkton’s Angels remain. The deadline to pick up an Angel off the tree and have it returned, with presents, is December 19. Angels can be picked up at Elkton City Hall any time during business hours. They’re open Monday from 8-2 and Tuesday through Thursday from 8-4:30.
