TDOT Approves Grant for Maury Regional Airport

The Tennessee Department of Transportation announced today that federal and state aeronautics grants, totaling $12.2 million dollars, have been approved for 13 Tennessee airports, including the Maury County Regional Airport in Columbia. These grants are made available through TDOT’s Aeronautics Division, which administers federal and state funding to assist in the location, design, construction and maintenance of Tennessee's diverse public aviation system. A five member board carefully reviews all applications for grants to ensure that the proper state and local matching funds are in place and that the grants will be used for needed improvements.
