Campbell Named Scholar Athlete

After a highly successful four-year career, Martin Methodist senior Martin Campbell received one final accolade as a RedHawk when he was named NAIA Men's Soccer Scholar Athlete Monday afternoon.
Campbell, a 6-foot defender from Airdire, Scotland, appeared in all 17 RedHawk contests this fall 15 of which were starts. Anchoring a defense that allowed just 16 total goals, Campbell helped lead the RedHawks to an 11-6 record and the school's first TranSouth Conference regular season title since 2008.
Campbell was also a model student in the classroom during his four years at Martin Methodist, earning a 3.60 GPA as a Business Management major with a minor in History.
