Apartment Fire Leaves Thousands In Damage; No Injuries Posted on December 01, 2012
A clothing dryer caught fire in Pulaski on Friday evening and caused about 12,000 dollars in damage. But luckily no injuries. Pulaski Police Chief Don Collins said the apartment dweller was alerted by her smoke detector and called 911. Firemen were quickly on the scene at the Tanglewood Apartments, located West College across from Holly’s Printing area. Chief Collins said when firemen arrived they could see heavy smoke and some flames were also visible. Several residents in the apartment complex were removed from the scene and two other nearby apartments suffered some smoke damage, but there were no personal injuries. Firemen were on the scene for several hours to secure the area. By Tracy Ayers
