Waynesboro Woman Arrested By TBI

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrested a Waynesboro, Tennessee woman on one count of statutory rape after she was indicted by the Wayne County grand jury Monday. 23-year-old Aanaka Petty was charged and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $2,500 bond.
In May of 2012, the District Attorney General requested TBI to investigate allegations that Petty was having sex with an underage male victim in February 2012. After conducting an investigation into the allegations, TBI presented to the case to the grand jury which returned an indictment against Petty.
