Doris Johnson of Pulaski passed away Saturday November 17, 2012 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
She was born in Hoovers Gap in Rutherford County and was 75 years old. She and her husband Ralph were owners and operators of JFJ Meat Processing.
Visitation will be on Monday, November 19th from 3:00 until 8:00pm at Bennett-May-Ciles County Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, November 20th at 10:00AM in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Gary Taylor and James
Murrell officiating.
Graveside service will be on Tuesday, November 20th at 2:00pm at Fox Hollow Cemetery, Hoovers Gap, Rutherford County. Burial will follow.
Memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, St. Jude Tribute Program, P O Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, Tn. 38101-9908 or Baptist Childrens Home, 1310 Franklin Rd, Brentwood, Tn. 37027.
She is survived by her, husband of 51 years, Ralph Johnson of Pulaski
5 sisters, Marlene Adams of Murfreesboro, Jane Turner (husband Randall) of Murfreesboro, Betty McHaffey (husband William) of Lebanon, Brenda Hall and Bonnie Taylor (husband Ricky) both of Pulaski
2 brothers, Jim Fults (wife Cathey) of Pulaski and Joe Fults of Chattanooga
several nieces, nephews and extended family also survive
Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Doris Johnson.
