L & S Food Market Attempted Robbery Stopped Posted on November 15, 2012
A man caught trying to gain entrance to L&S Food Market after closing told the arresting officer: "Man, I've just been down and out and I'm tired of being broke," said Limestone County Sheriff's Chief Randy King.
Deputy Jason Shawley responded to a report of a burglary at the grocery at 11 p.m. Tuesday and saw a man wedging items beneath a roll-up aluminum door at the back of the store.
Eric Garris, 23, of Prospect, Tennessee was arrested and charged with attempted burglary and public intoxication.
