Bobcats to Take on Hurricanes Friday Night

The Giles County Bobcats will take on the East Hamilton Hurricanes on Friday night in the quarterfinals of the TSSAA Class 4A State Playoffs. The 11-1 Hurricanes will challenge the Bobcats, who are 12-0 for the first time in school history, at Sam Davis Stadium.
In their last game the Bobcats defeated Notre Dame 47-7, while the Hurricanes bested Page 35-14. Bobcats head coach David O'Connor says that East Hamilton are the best team Giles County will have faced so far this season. "They are huge in the line with a couple of players over 300 pounds. They have speed and run the ball well. They also have a good quarterback," he says.
Kickoff for Friday night's Giles County/East Hamilton game is set for 7p.m. at Sam Davis Park. Coverage begins at 6p.m. on Country 98.3 WKSR.
