Richland Splits a Pair of Games Against Moore County Posted on November 14, 2012
The Richland Raiders raced out to a 20-point lead then watched it shrink to just six points before pulling away with a 66-53 win over Moore County last night. Four players scored in double figures for Richland in their Hall of Fame Classic win.
Cody Jordan had 15 points. Carson Edwards had 13. Bret Boatright and Markus Batchelder each had 12. Up next for Richland is a road game Friday at Fayetteville City. The Raiders' next home game is Monday, Nov. 19, against Collinwood.
The Richland Lady Raiders started their season in dramatic fashion last night falling to Moore County 62-58 in overtime.Three players scored in double figures as Richland and Moore County finished regulation tied at 53 apiece. Kaylin Stacey led Richland with 17 points. Ashton Edwards and Shelby Allen each scored 14. Richland travels to Fayetteville City Friday and will return home Monday, Nov. 19, to host Collinwood.
