Tim Bates, of Pulaski, died yesterday October 14, 2012 at Hillside Hospital in Pulaski
He was 57 old. Tim was a avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He had a passion for volunteering in his community, in our local school systems, and for Giles County High Bobcat Football.


Visitation will be 3:00 until 8:00pm Tuesday, October 16th at Bennett May-Giles County Funeral Home,
Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 17th in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Dr. Doug Plumlee and Charles McElroy officiating.
Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.

The family asks that memorial donations be made to the Trent Holt Locker Room Addition at Giles County High School, 200 Sheila Frost Drive, Pulaski, Tn. 38478


He is survived by his
wife, Leatha Brewer Bates of Pulaski
son, Ben Bates of Pulaski
mother, Louise Boyd Bates of Lawrenceburg
a sister Kimberly Chunn of Smyrna
2 brothers, Paul Bates (Brenda) of Columbia and brother, Charlie Bates of Franklin
mother and father-in-law, Charles and Kitty Brewer of Pulaski brother-in-law, Richie Brewer (Nina) of Pulaski several nieces and nephews also survive.
