Fire Destroys Mobile Home Near Anthony Hill

Fire has destroyed a mobile home in Southern Giles County. Firemen were called to 3862 Nancy Green Ridge near Anthony Hill where a single wide mobile home was fully engulfed and on the ground when Giles County Fire rescue squad members got to the scene around six p.m. on Saturday night. The structure appeared to be unoccupied and the power had been cut off to the mobile home. Giles County Fire Marshall Barry Whitt and Sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene. The Minor Hill Volunteer Department assisted at the fire.
