Three Mt. Pleasant Football Players Involved In Alleged Rape
Posted on October 11, 2012

Authorities in Maury County say three high school football players were charged with rape of a child under the age of 13 and are accused of having sex with a 12-year-old girl who became pregnant. Lt. Andy Jackson of the Maury County sheriff's office told The Daily Herald that 18-year-old Princeton Harlan, a quarterback for Mt. Pleasant High School, was arrested Wednesday. Jackson said two other members of the team, ages 16 and 17, were charged as juveniles. Harlan was an all-state quarterback being recruited by several SEC schools. He continued to play for the Tigers while the investigation was underway including last Friday night’s game at Richland.
