OEM To Host See and Learn Of New Gear

Here’s your chance to get a look at new equipment that’s used to protect local citizens. The Office of Emergency Management is calling the event a “See and Learn.” It’s federally funded equipment, gear, training, and other tools that’s being used to protect Giles County. The event, hosted by the Office of Emergency Management , is set for Thursday from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Courthouse Annex, 222 W. Madison St., Pulaski,. OEM officials and haz-mat team members will be on hand to display emergency management equipment and answer questions. A volunteer will program weather radios, and family preparedness information will be distributed. Free hot dogs and drinks will be served beginning at 11:30 a.m.
