George Ude, age 85 of Pulaski, passed away Thursday at Wiliamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Pulaski, a longtime Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop 462 in Pulaski, United States Air Force Retired, and retired from hospital administration at Giles County Hospital.
Visitation will be Sunday from 7:00 until 9:00 at the First Presbyterian Church of Pulaski.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 Monday in the sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church with Robert Montgomery officiating.
Burial with full military honors will be 1:00 Tuesday at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Nashville.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Pulaski or the Middle Tennessee Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia Ude of Pulaski, two sons: Christopher Ude and wife Allison of Franklin and Kevin Ude and wife Alice of Ashville, NC. Three grandchildren and sister-in-law Jo Ellen Gorris of Florida also survive.
Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for George Ude.
