Bobcats Bury Spring Hill 50-8

The Giles County Bobcats had little trouble against out matched Spring Hill as they rolled to a 50-0 halftime lead and won by a final of 50-8 in a game shorted in the second half due to the Bobcats lead by over 35 points. Kenton Baker and Al Cobb paced the scoring parade on the ground and through the air as the top ranked Cats ran out 29-0 at the end of the first quarter. A long Neiko Walker run put Giles on top 36-0 Cobb's 44 yard run made it 43-0 in the second quarter and then Cobb hit Baker again to make it 50-0 at the half. In the first half Baker caught 5 passes for 118 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another from 27 yards out.
The Bobcats are now 6-0 on the season.
