Maury County To Get Veteran's Medical Clinic

Neighboring Maury County is about to get a Veteran's Clinic that will cut down travel time for local vets who need medical attention. On November first, after years of the project being shelved the clinic will open and is expected to serve at least 2,000 veterans in Maury and neighboring counties. In the past for similar services veterans had to travel to Nashville or Murfressboro. The outpaitent clinic will be run by Valor Healthcare, which operates about 20 veterans clinics across the country. In addition to offering primary and mental health care, the clinics best asset is to cut down the long trips. For more information contact your local veterans service office.
