Elks Name Man And Woman Of The Year

Marcus Harney has been named as the Man of the Year by the Abraham McKissack
Elk Lodge of Pulaski. Harney becomes the 40th Man of the Year named by
the local benevolent association. Harney is Chief of the Giles County
Fire and Rescue Squad and holds several other outstanding positions.
Loretta A. Johson has been named as the Woman of the Year. She is the supervisor of the Giles and Maury County Division of Juvinile Justice teams. She is a graduate of Giles County High, Martin Methodist and Middle Tennessee State and has been with the state DCS department for eleven years. . The Man and Woman of the Year banquet will be held Saturday night
September 8th at six at the First National Bank Heritage Theater. The
guest speaker for the evening will be Navery Moore. Mr. Moore is currently
the Chief Operating Officer of the Moore Brothers Construction Company
which he helped establish after a distinguished career with Bell South.
