Piles Of Money Spent In 70th District Republican Race Posted on August 06, 2012
Lots of money was certainly spent in the race for the Republican
nomination for State House Seat 70 between eventual winner Barry Doss and
Don Parr. According to the latest campaign expenditures reports, Parr
spent a lot more more than Doss. Parr reported spending right at 40,000
dollars while Doss reported spending about 27 thousand dollars. Both
candidates spent more than that on the campaign, since that's just one
reporting period. Doss won the election and will face Democrat Calvin
Moore and Independent John Johnson of Lawrenceburg in the November General
Election.
