Dump Truck Overturns On Case Road

A dump truck overturned on Case Road about 7:30 p.m. Monday night.
State troopers said the dump truck was fully loaded with topsoil when failed to maintain his lane of travel while southbound on Case road, the truck traveled off the shoulder of the road and overturned, landing upside down in a field.
Giles County Fire and Rescue and Elkton Vol. Fire Department all responsed to the accident along with the THP. Trooper Brandon Dixon is investigating the accident. The driver refused transport by Giles EMS but was taken for medical attention in a private vehicle.
