Elderly Driver Hurt In I-65 Wreck

Emergency responders with THP, Giles EMS,
Giles Fire and Rescue, Ardmore Fire and Elkton Volunteer Fire
responded to a single vehicle accident that occurred on Interstate 65
just south of the welcome center around 4 p.m. on Monday
The pickup traveled off
the roadway and overturned in a creek bed. The 81-year-old driver was
transported by Giles EMS to Huntsville (Ala.) Hospital in serious
condition. THP Trooper Brandon Dixon is investigating.
