Early Voting Ends On Saturday At Noon

Election day is drawing near and if you want to vote early you must do so before noon on Saturday at the Election Commission office in the courthosue annex. One hundred seventy one persons voted early in Giles County on Thursday, bringing the total to 1,235 for the Aug. 2 election.
So far, 767 persons have registered to vote Republican, 389 Democratic.
272 voted Thursday in Lawrence County bringing the total early voting
to 1,964. Voting Republican were 1,377 and 498 voted Democrat.
