State Tournament For Babe Ruth 14s Opens Friday At Sam Davis Park

The 2012, 14 year old Babe Ruth Tournament starts Friday at Sam Davis
Park with six teams vying for the state crown. Game one on Friday pits
Lebanon versus Marshall County, first pitch at three. then at 5:30 it's
Lawrenceburg taking on Franklin County and at eight its Jamestown and
Giles County. Johnson city drew a first round bye and will take on the
winner of the Lebanon, Marshall County game on Saturday at noon. The
champhionship game is set for Monday at eight. If a second game is
required in the double elimination tournament, it will be played Tuesday
night.
