Pop Warner Player, Cheerleader Sign Ups Set

Giles Co. Pop Warner football and cheer sign ups at Sam Davis Park Football Field
Saturday, July 14, 21, 28, 10am-2pm; Sunday July 29, 1pm-3pm. Pop Warner Little
Scholars is a national non-profit organization that provides youth football and
cheer & dance programs for participants in 42 states. The mission of Pop Warner
Little Scholars is to enable young people to benefit from participation in team
sports and activities in a safe and structured environment. Through this, we teach
fundamental values, skills and knowledge that young people will use throughout their
lives.
Players age five and up are welcome. Pop Warner does not have tryouts, everyone
participates under mandatory rules of play and on-field coaching is allowed for
younger age levels. A safe playing environment is maintained by matching players
according to age and weight levels. There are strict mandatory equipment
requirements and coaches are trained in Risk Management and CPR.
Giles Co. Pop Warner would also like to invite local businesses to join us as a
partner for the 2012 season to help support this youth program. It is a great
opportunity to give back to your community and receive advertising at the same time
