Columbia's Dan Uggla To Start For NL In All Star Game

Braves second baseman Dan Uggla, a native of Columbia will be making his
first start, at this year’s Major League baseball All-Star Game in Kansas
City on July 10.
“You’re talking about going out and competing about the best players in
the world for one night,” Uggla said. “It’s a huge honor to be put in that
category and be thought of that way. I’m excited. I can’t wait. It’s going
to be a lot of fun.”
