Elkton Bans Open Burning and Fireworks

The City of Elkton has decided to ban open burning and fireworks until
further notice. Fire Chief Payton Blade said that "due to the extreme
drought conditions and low availability of water, there will be no
fireworks or open burning allowed in the city limits of Elkton." The only
exception will be outdoor cooking in a closed type of grill or container.
